Ajax captain Matthijs de Ligt spoke to Dutch media about his duel with Cristiano Ronaldo in Champions League.
De Ligt's winner eliminated Juventus from Champions League in Turin but the Dutch defender claims his opponent Ronaldo 'helped me improve'.
'I remember an action, right after the middle break, a long ball over the head of Cristiano Ronaldo. He was to attack and I would have done the same before.' De Ligt told Voetbal.
