According to Italian media, Milan's short break is over. After Saturday night's 3-1 derby win over Internazionale, Amorim gave the team Sunday and Monday off.
Given the congested schedule, the Portuguese coach used the gap between matches to give the squad, which is nearing the end of an intense run of fixtures, extra rest. Today, the whole team returned to the Milanello training ground to begin preparations for Thursday's match against Ferencvarosi TC, which will be played at San Siro in the fourth round of the Europa League group stage.
