Fans and pundits have been criticising Paris Saint Germain keeper Gianluigi Donnarumma after he failed to save Kingsley Coman's strike in Tuesday's Champions League clash.
Bayern Munich beat PSG 1-0 after Coman hit a first-time shot straight at Donnarumma, but it rolled under the Italy international and into the goal.
Kylian Mbappe threatened to bring the home side back into the game after coming off the bench and put the ball in the net twice, but both were ruled out for offside.
Joe Cole felt Donnarumma was at fault for the goal, as he told BT Sport: 'It was a lovely finish, but the goalkeeper should have done better.
He also believed PSG's backline was partially to blame, adding: '[Sergio] Ramos was dragged out and [Presnel] Kimpembe was out of position.
'You talk about the art of defending, it seems to have gone out of the game.
'[Nuno] Mendes needs to be higher. At left-back I worry about him, seeing that goal, it looks like he loses concentration.'
Joleon Lescott agreed, as he noted 'three PSG players at the front doing nothing for the goal. It's a pretty poor goal to be conceding, to be honest.'
Fans on twitter were equally quick to lament PSG's keeper for his role in the game's only goal.
While some blamed the defenders, the majority went for Donnarumma, with many labelling him 'overrated' and suggesting it's not the first time he has made 'howlers' in the UCL.
One fan claimed '[Keylor] Navas would have 1000% saved that' after the French giants shipped out the Costa Rica international on loan to Nottingham Forest, while the 23-year-old was also compared to Loris Karius after his infamous errors for Liverpool in the 2018 Champions League final.
Bayern's win at the Parc des Princes gives them an excellent chance of reaching the quarter finals, as they go into the home leg just needing a draw to take them through.
The reverse fixture will take place on Wednesday, March 8.
