On the eve of a pre-season clash with Manchester United, Jurgen Klopp was singing songs with Liverpool fans at a packed event on Friday night.

The German sang along to Kop favourite 'Allez, Allez, Allez', which soundtracked their run to the final of last season's Champions League.

The Reds face their bitter rivals on Saturday night in Michigan as their preparations for the 2018-19 campaign step up another gear.

A number of fans had gathered at the team hotel in Ann Arbor for a club-run event with the Detroit Supporters Club.

And after a Q&A session with Robbie Fowler and John-Arne Riise, musician Jamie Webster provided some entertainment from behind the mic.

And he was left stunned mid-song as the Liverpool boss walked through the door to huge cheers.

Before he started playing the song, Webster said: 'It was being sung in Portugal (against Porto) on the concourse and we didn't know how far it was going to go or what happened.

'Me and my friends said to each other: that song will spur us on in Europe this season, that song could be the new Ring Of Fire. That song did so many things for us.

'So I went home, and I put it on the guitar, give it a bit of life and has been the song of last season, hasn't it?

'Jurgen, thanks very much, we owe you a lot.'

Klopp then burst into song as the opening few lines of 'Allez, Allez, Allez' were played, grinning into the camera as he did so.

Supporters in the bar bounced along, before Klopp embraced the singer and gave the room an ovation after the song finished.
