Juventus defender Gleison Bremer has undergone knee surgery.
TMW says Bremer is expected to miss the next 8-10 weeks and could play again before the Christmas break.
Juve announced today: "This morning, Gleison Bremer underwent selective arthroscopic meniscectomy of the medial meniscus of his left knee. The operation, performed at the Hôpital Privé Jean Mermoz in Lyon by Dr. Bertrand Sonnery-Cottet in the presence of Juventus' club doctor, Dr. Paolo Cavallo, was a complete success.
"The player will begin his rehabilitation process in the next few days aimed at returning to competitive activity."
Bremer had recovered from an ACL injury last year, but suffered a knee strain last month and it was decided last week that he would undergo a clean-up operation.
