Kimpembe jokes with fan after he bought shirt with wrong number on the back

Presnel Kimpembe jokingly offered to switch numbers with team-mate Thilo Kehrer after a Paris Saint-Germain fan purchased a club shirt with the player's name and wrong squad number on it.

The supporter shared a photo of a shirt emblazoned with Kimpembe and the number four on the back, although the French defender has worn number three since breaking inot the first team in 2015.

The number four belongs instead to summer signing Thilo Kehrer, who joined from Schalke for £30million.

The error came to light when the supporter took to Twitter to ask whether Kimpembe and Kehrer had switched around their numbers.

Kimpembe has enjoyed a strong start to the season for PSG, and scored the opening goal for the club in their Champions League last-16 first leg tie against Manchester United.

It was the 23-year-old's first senior goal for the club, coming on his 97th appearance in all competitions.

The left-sided centre-back was also part of Didier Deschamps' World Cup-winning squad in Russia last summer.

He started the final group game of the victorious campaign at centre-back, a goalless draw against Denmark.
