Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp was full of praise for Borussia Dortmund star Erling Haaland but refused reveal whether he will attempt to sign the Norwegian.
Haaland is one of the most wanted strikers in the world after and is said to have interest from both Manchester clubs, Chelsea, Real Madrid, Barcelona and Bayern Munich.
The striker has scored 85 goals in the last two seasons and Klopp admitted that the 21-year-old is an incredible talent.
'The boy is a force of nature who develops his own energy,' Klopp told Bild TV. 'He's an incredibly exciting player who's fun.'
But when asked if he would make a move for the forward, Klopp remained tight-lipped.
'I don't have his number,' the Liverpool boss replied.
Reports in Spain suggested Haaland could leave Dortmund as early as January, with his £64million release clause set to be moved forward.
It was understood that the release clause would become active next summer but that may no longer be the case, meaning a bidding war could be sparked among Europe's top clubs.
Liverpool have enjoyed a positive start to the season with convincing victories against Norwich and Burnley in their opening two games.
Fans noticed how Klopp had ditched his trademark glasses for the Reds' clash at Carrow Road last weekend and the German revealed why later in the interview.
'It's the case that glasses would not have helped me anymore,' Klopp explained.
'So I had to undergo a small operation that meant that I no longer need any.'
