Klopp sports Liverpool's 'You'll Never Walk Alone' mantra as his side beat Man City

Liverpool boss Jurgen Klopp encapsulates the club's 'You'll Never Walk Alone' mantra, so much so that he has started wearing it on his cap.

The German took to the touchline on Wednesday as his side faced Premier League rivals Manchester City in New Jersey in the International Champions Cup.

Freshly tanned from the pre-season tour, Klopp barked commands out over the pitch to his players while wearing his trademark cap and glasses.

The embroidered slogan on the cap is part of the new Liverpool range for the coming season, in conjunction with sponsors New Balance.

Klopp may feel his new-look cap is something of a lucky charm, after his side pulled off an impressive victory.

Coming from behind, goals from the returning Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane were enough to seal victory for the Reds.

Leroy Sane opened the scoring for City at the MetLife Stadium, before Liverpool's star duo entered the fray.

Salah took no time at all to make an immediate impact, latching onto a cross to head the ball past Joe Hart.

Mane soon followed suit, stepping up in his new No 10 shirt to rifle the ball home from the penalty spot and seal victory for his side.

Liverpool return to action on Saturday when they face arch rivals Manchester United.
