Former Germany coach Löw was interviewed by Sky Sport Germany and analyzed the team's group stage opponents.

Löw said: "To be honest, I don't think this group is as easy as many people observing from a distance or watching the fun might think. No disrespect to the small country and people of Curaçao, but playing against them shouldn't be a problem, because the German team is too far ahead in terms of game rhythm, technical ability, and tactical literacy.
"But Côte d'Ivoire and Ecuador are another matter. Both teams have strong physical confrontation capabilities, and both teams have many stars. Naturally, these players play for top clubs in Europe, and they are not only very adaptable to this high-intensity game rhythm but also possess strong mental endurance.
"We have played against South American and African teams enough times in major tournaments, and everyone knows that when they face a strong team like Germany, a historical giant with four World Cup titles, they will naturally want to play the best game of their careers. So, of course, they will be extra motivated, right?
"We will face two teams with high morale, and they are definitely capable of causing us trouble. Because they are not only technically excellent but also tactically sound now, and both teams have very strong physical strength."
