Lamine Yamal received the Di Stéfano Award for best player of the season from the director of MARCA.

The Barcelona player beat out such important footballers as Mbappé and Vinicius, and even his own teammates like Pedri and Raphinha, who were also in contention for the award. Despite being only 18 years old, the Barcelona player is already amassing an impressive collection of trophies.
“All the individual titles indicate that it has been a great season for the team. For me, it brings me happiness and pride. Accumulating awards at my age is very positive. I'm going to keep working and fighting to achieve things like this,” the Barcelona player told MARCA.
Lamine is excited about the team's return to Camp Nou. He sees it as if it were a new signing: “The fans mean so much. We've been playing in a stadium that wasn't ours. Montjuïc was fine, but it wasn't what we wanted. Camp Nou will be a huge support for everyone and will be a big boost for the rest of the season.”
One of Lamine Yamal's defining characteristics is his ambition. He wants to win everything and believes he's capable of doing so. When asked about the Ballon d'Or a few days ago, he naturally said that he didn't expect to win just one, but several throughout his career. 2026 is packed with challenges for the Barça player: with his club, with the national team, and individually. When asked what he wants among La Liga, the Champions League, the World Cup, and the Ballon d'Or, he doesn't hesitate at all: “I want it all. I hope I win it all, and as long as we can play, it's possible.”
