LaLiga president Javier Tebas has admitted that he doesn't want Neymar to return to Barcelona this summer because he doesn't set the right example.

The Brazilian has been heavily linked with a move back to the Camp Nou after a controversial spell in Paris, both on and off the pitch.

"I'd rather Neymar didn't come to LaLiga because he's not a good example. [He'd only be good for the league] if he behaves better," Tebas told Onda Cero.

"He can be a great player, but behaviour is also very important in terms of the values we try to put across.

"We always have to bring great players to LaLiga, but in Neymar's case, this behaviour isn't good for the competition because it's about if the player has done this or that.

"We've worked hard at LaLiga to maintain [certain] values and we don't want to change this image."

Tebas also spoke of his concern over whether Barcelona would be able to stay within the financial fair play rules if they were to sign Neymar this summer.

"To be able to afford this signing while complying with financial fair play, Barcelona would have to let another player go. It will depend on the price," he said.
