The president of Barça said he felt "optimistic" at the floral offering for the National Day of Catalonia.

The president of FC Barcelona, Joan Laporta, attended early this Thursday to fulfill one of the club's classic rituals, which is the floral offering at the monument to Rafael Casanova on the occasion of the National Day of Catalonia.

Laporta was accompanied upon his arrival by the vice presidents, Rafael Yuste and Elena Fort, on a festive day in Catalonia, and one of its main events is the floral offering.

The highest-ranking blaugrana official told the media gathered around him that he feels "optimistic" about the return to the Spotify Camp Nou, although he did not want to specify whether the date will be against Getafe on September 21 or, as everything seems to indicate, on the 28th with the match against Real Sociedad.

In any case, Laporta assured that "we will return as soon as possible" and that he was very "eager" for this return to take place. The president spoke with his vice-presidents and also with basketball player Joel Parra, who was one of the first to arrive.

For now, the FC Barcelona-Valencia match will be played this Sunday at the Johan Cruyff Stadium due to the impossibility of playing at the Olympic Stadium of Montjuïc because of Post Malone's concert this Friday.

Lluís Companys will be available from then on for the Barcelona matches that are necessary, both in La Liga and the Champions League, although the intention is for the Spotify Camp Nou to be the venue where they are played as soon as possible.

Laporta greeted the many fans who gathered to take pictures, while Joan Garcia arrived on behalf of the first team of FC Barcelona football.
