Gabriel Martinelli's goal almost immediately after half time was enough for the Gunners to secure victory in a game that saw them struggle to break down Leicester.
They had two goals ruled out in the game, one through Leandro Trossard, who replaced Eddie Nketiah up front, and one from Bukayo Saka after more good work from Martinelli.
