Lille forward Jonathan David has reaffirmed his desires to play in the Premier League and claimed a move to England is 'very possible' in the near future.
The Canadian international has previously been linked with a number of teams in England's top-flight given his impressive displays up-front for the Ligue 1 side.
And now it seems he can no longer hold back his wish to get a move to England as he admitted he cannot see a future 'anywhere other than the Premier League'.
In an interview with La Voic du Nord, David said: 'In England, when I watch the matches, everything is full each time. As a player, it motivates you even more.
'I don't know, I think it's possible, very possible. I don't know if I can find myself anywhere other than the Premier League. It could well be the Premier League. It's a very nice atmosphere.'
David has been previously been linked with the likes of Arsenal, Newcastle United, but most prominently, Manchester United, who are searching for a new man to lead the line for them after the acrimonious departure of Cristiano Ronaldo.
The Lille forward impressed in front of goal since move to France three years ago, scoring 13 and 19 times respectively in his first two seasons. He's also started the current campaign in impressive style with nine goals in his first 15 games.
Earlier this month, the forward made hints at his desires to play in England after reaffirming his belief the Premier League is 'best league in the world'.
Speaking during Canada's World Cup campaign, David said: 'I am aware of nothing. When I am at the World Cup I am just focused on trying to enjoy the World Cup and enjoying the moment.
'What happens after I do not know, we will have to see. The Premier League is the best league in the world and I think every player would want to play there some day.'
David has been on scintillating form for French side Lille this season, with twelve goal contributions in fifteen games, but the young striker failed to score in his three games in Qatar.
The forward earned his first break in football after getting a significant move in January 2018 when he signed for Belgian side Gent.
David made a big impact at Gent, scoring 37 goals in 83 games, which led to him attracting interest from a lot of high-profile clubs.
Eventually, though, he ended up signing for Lille in August 2020 for a reported fee of €30million [£26.3m].
