Liverpool won for the first time since early November in the Women's Super League with a 2-1 win over Brighton at St Helen's Stadium.
Nikita Parris had cancelled out Olivia Smith's first-half strike, but Jorelyn Carabali's own goal gifted the three points to Liverpool, extending the Seagulls' winless run to three matches.
Liverpool grew into the game after a slow start and took the lead just after the half-hour mark. A quick break saw Smith brilliantly held off Guro Bergsvand from the halfway line before firing the opener into the roof of the net.
She almost doubled their lead minutes later, but could only drag her effort wide, while Teagan Micah had to be alert on the stroke of half-time to palm Kiko Seike's header away from Parris on the line at the other end.
Mia Enderby came close to doubling Liverpool's lead early in the second half after another fast counter-attack, choosing to go it alone despite having support, and her shot trickled wide of the far post.
Moments later, Liverpool were punished. A loose touch gifted Parris the ball and her strike took a big deflection off Jenna Clark to loop into the far side of the net.
However, the hosts would get their own stroke of luck eight minutes from time. Grace Fisk recycled a cross, drilling it back into the box and the unfortunate Carabali could not sort out her feet in time and ended up bundling it into her own net.
It is a win that sees Liverpool jump up to sixth in the WSL table, while Brighton missed the chance to close in on the top four, remaining four points behind Manchester United in fifth.

Data Debrief: Reds back on target
Matt Beard had to watch on from the stands as he served a touchline ban, but the relief was clear on his face at the full-time whistle as Liverpool returned to winning ways.
Not only had his side not earned three points since November 3, but that was also the last time they scored - a 2-1 win over Aston Villa.
Smith's goal ended a run of 438 minutes without a goal for Liverpool, helping them on their way to extending their winning run against Brighton to four games in the WSL.
