Now, let's welcome our first guest - 2018 Ballon d'Or winner Luka Modric! Cast your vote from 6 dimensions - Pace, Dribbling, Shooting, Passing, Physicality and Tenacity (5 is the highest and 1 is the lowest). The Final points = Total points of 6 dimensions /6 * 20.
Reminder: Ratings could be changed according to the positions in the field (like shot for strikers and save for goalkeepers).
Born in Zadar, Modric's childhood coincided with the Croatian War of Independence which displaced his family. In 2008, he moved to Premier League club Tottenham Hotspur for a club-record transfer fee of £16.5 million, where he led Spurs to their first UEFA Champions League appearance in almost 50 years, reaching the quarter-finals of the 2010–11 tournament. In the summer of 2012, Modric joined Real Madrid for a £30 million transfer fee, where he became a key contributor for Madrid's 4 UCL trophies in 5 years.
As the core player of Real Madrid and the captain of Croatia, Luka Modric plays mainly as a central midfielder. Able to blend traditional and trequartista playmaking effectively, he is known for his vision, precision in execution, and tactical strategy. He also won World Cup Golden Ball, UEFA Player of the Year, The Best FIFA Player and Ballon d'Or this year.
