Everton's miserable run continued on Thursday night as they were dumped out of the Europa League following a lacklustre performance in Lyon.
David Unsworth's side ended the game with 10 men after Morgan Schneiderlin was given his marching orders in the latter stages, but the damage was already done.
Bertrand Traore opened the scoring for Lyon before Houssem Aouar doubled the lead on 74 minutes. The game petered out, but not before former Manchester United man Memphis Depay popped up to add a third and a send the Toffees further into freefall.
