Everton striker Moise Kean is close to completing his return to Juventus after the clubs agreed a loan move with option to buy for £17million.
The player's agent Mino Raiola has been in Italy over recent days to negotiate the transfer and the 21-year-old striker is scheduled to be in Turin on Saturday evening ahead of undergoing a medical on Sunday.
Kean joined Everton from Juventus for £23.5million in 2019 but has struggled to settle at Goodison Park. Last season, he went on loan to Paris Saint-Germain and rediscovered his form as he managed 13 goals in 26 league appearances, scoring 17 overall.
Rafa Benitez has included the Italy international in his squads this season though he was sent off 15 minutes into the second half of their ill-tempered Carabao Cup tie against Huddersfield Town on Tuesday after an off the ball clash with Duane Holmes.
Everton need to offload players to help Benitez strengthen elsewhere with their biggest earner James Rodriguez discussing a loan to Porto as part of the deal that would bring Luis Diaz to Everton.
Benitez would like to add Dwight McNeil from Burnley and they have made an approach for Arsenal's Ainsley Maitland-Niles but much depends on what they can generate in the next few days before Tuesday's deadline.
Once Kean's deal goes through, Juventus are unlikely to bring any more forwards in despite a proposal to sign Eden Hazard from Real Madrid.
They remain interested in a move for Borussia Dortmund's Belgium midfielder Axel Witsel, 32, who has attracted attention from Aston Villa.
