According to Mundo Deportivo, Danish center-back Andreas Christensen's contract with Barcelona expires in June. His current priority is to stay with the Blaugrana, but he also needs to weigh other offers he has received.

Reports indicate that the currently injured Danish center-back has begun contract extension talks with Barcelona. After months of communication, he has received his first offer, and his agent, Simon Oliveira, met with Barcelona's sporting director, Deco, on Wednesday at a hotel near Camp Nou.

Although Christensen considers staying at Barcelona his top priority, as he and his family are very happy there, the Danish defender still needs to carefully consider the offer.

With his contract nearing its end, even while currently injured, Christensen maintains a good market value, with several European clubs expressing interest in him, in addition to the Saudi league.

Therefore, the player wants time to decide his future, but he has consistently made it clear that he very much wants to continue playing for Barcelona.

Despite frequent injuries during his time at Barcelona, the club highly values his ability, versatility, and team spirit. He has now received Barcelona's first formal offer, and his future destination will be decided by himself.
