After being questioned by reporters upon leaving the Italian amateur league meeting, FIGC President Giovanni Malagò once again responded to the current tensions surrounding the appointment of the new national team coach.
"You will have news tomorrow," Malagò stated.
When asked about rumors of Paolo Maldini potentially resigning as FIGC technical director, Malagò chose to evade the question, only responding: "No comment."
Upon returning to the FIGC headquarters, Malagò also responded again to previous remarks made by Sports Minister Andrea Abodi.
"Everyone has the right to interpret that statement in their own way," Malagò said.
He then further countered Abodi: "That being said, Abodi's circle is not suitable for talking about 'shameful' things, as they themselves have experienced many similar situations in various aspects."
