The Malaysian Football Association officially announced that Johor Darul Ta'zim players Bergson and Brad Tapp have completed their naturalization process and been approved to represent Malaysia.

The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has confirmed that FIFA has verified that two players from Johor Darul Ta'zim Football Club (JDT), Bergson da Silva and Brad Tapp, are eligible to represent the Malaysian national team.
FAM received this confirmation after FIFA completed its review of the eligibility status of these two players in accordance with established rules and regulations.
Meanwhile, the status of two other JDT players, Manuel Hidalgo and Shane Lowry, remains under FIFA review. FAM is awaiting an official decision from FIFA.
FAM will continue to cooperate with FIFA and submit all necessary information and documents required for the review process.
FAM will communicate any further developments regarding the status of Hidalgo and Lowry upon receiving official confirmation from FIFA.
