Match Report
MANCHESTER UNITED'S teenagers fired them to a truly shocking FA Cup final victory.
Alejandro Garnacho capitalised on a defensive mix-up by Manchester City pair Josko Gvardiol and Stefan Ortega to tap into an empty Wembley net on the half-hour mark.
Then nine minutes later, Kobbie Mainoo made it 2-0 in style.
Garnacho made headway down the right, playing inside to captain Bruno Fernandes who produced a sublime, first-time, no-look pass to put it on a plate for the young academy graduate.
At the other end, Andre Onana made a handful of smart stops to keep United in front - including a fine diving effort to deny Kyle Walker.
And the Red Devils breathed a huge sigh of relief as Erling Haaland crashed a shot off the crossbar before Julian Alvaraz slid one wide.
City continued to push for a foothold but the Red Devils wall continued to stand firm.
That was until the 87th minute when Onana messed up.
Jeremy Doku cut inside and let fly with a speculative low strike.
But what looked a comfortable save for the Cameroonian goalkeeper was anything but as he blundered his attempt and allowed the ball to creep into the bottom corner of the net and haul the Premier League champions back into the game.
Seven minutes on the fourth official's board did nothing to help the United nerves.
But after what would have seemed like an eternity for the red half of Wembley, Andy Madley blew the full-time whistle.
