Manchester City are closing in on the signings of two highly rated Brazilian teenagers from Fluminense.
Kayky and Metinho, both 17, are set to complete moves to the club in the coming days for a combined cost of $12million (£9m).
Kayky, who has recently been linked with a move to Brazilian hotbed Shakhtar Donetsk, can play as a winger or an attacking midfielder and has drawn comparisons with Neymar.
He has played for Brazil's under-16 side, but has yet to feature for Fluminense's first team.
Congo-born midfielder Metinho meanwhile has already trained with the national team and has cited Paul Pogba as his inspiration.
He has been linked with a number of other big European clubs including Liverpool.
Goal understand that City are unsure which club in their City Football Group (CFG) the pair would move to first once they have signed.
In 2020, the four-time Premier League champions made two eye-catching purchases from South America.
They signed Yan Couto in March, with the Brazilian right back moving from Coritiba on July 1. He was then loaned out for this season to CFG side Girona, who ply their trade in the Spanish Segunda Division.
City also captured Peruvian defender Kluiverth Aguilar from Alianza Lima for a fee of £1.5million in April. He will join later this year when he turns 18 in May.
