Match Events

23' GOAL! Man City 0-1 West Ham (Noble)

Bravo steps to one side, inviting Noble to go left, but he goes right and it finds the corner!

32' GOAL! Man City 1-1 West Ham (David Silva)

Spaniard Bernabe picks it up on the right, in absolutely no danger for West Ham, or so it seems. He sticks a fantastic diagonal 40 yards into the area, straight on Silva's chest, and he volleys it into the bottom corner with his second touch!

36' GOAL! Man City 2-1 West Ham (Nmecha)

Nmecha grabs the ball, sticks it on the spot, and puts it bottom right corner! Turnaround complete. West Ham's lead goes up in a puff of smoke.

58' GOAL! Man City 3-1 West Ham (Sterling)

It's a first-time ball from Sane through to Sterling, from so deep, and Sterling sticks it past Roberto while one-on-one. Suspicion of offside, but no flag. What a ball from Sane, to pick that out with his weaker foot first time.

70' GOAL! Man City 4-1 West Ham (Sterling)

City really turning on the style. Sanchez's sloppiness in midfield allows Gundogan to feed Sane. He slips a backheel to De Bruyne in the box, and he squares for Sterling on the right. A first-time finish, Sterling gets it under Roberto and into the net!

Match Reports

Man City see off a strong West Ham side; Pep played it cool at the beginning, playing a number of youngsters as West Ham took a deserved lead, but Silva, Nmecha and Sterling put the game well beyond the Hammers as they turned it on in the second half.

Very impressive in the end.

City will face Wolves in Sunday’s final, while West Ham take on Newcastle in the third-place play-off, with both games live on Sky Sports Premier League.
