MANCHESTER CITY fans have blasted the club's latest kit release, and believe it could be the worst in the Premier League's history.
Ahead of the new season - kicking off with champions Liverpool facing Bournemouth tomorrow evening - clubs have been busy pushing the marketing out for their new shirts.
Man City are no different, and on Thursday morning, revealed their third kit for the 2025/26 season.
In an unusual twist, the kit is a grey-looking colour complete with a trim of green down the sides and neck - officially "Cool Weather/Pro Green" - and features a raindrop design all over.
Puma have said the colouration pays homage to the people, the culture, and the spirit of Manchester - including the infamous Mancunian weather.
Selling for up to £130 for an authentic jersey, or £85 for a standard and £90 for a long sleeve version, club commercial chiefs and kit manufacturer Puma naturally hope the kit will be a nice money-spinner.
However, they might have bitten off more than they can chew after fans gave their brutally honest verdict on the kit.
Reacting on social media, one fan said: "This might just end up being the most terrible kit in the history of the Prem."
A second said: "Can you unrelease it please."
A third added: "Now need to wash my eyes out with soap, cool."
