David de Gea is yet to pen a new deal with reports stating club chiefs are unsure over signing off on one.
And The Mirror claim England goalkeeper Jordan Pickford remains a leading candidate to replace David de Gea at Old Trafford, with Manchester United readying a £45million bid.
The club stated last week that discussions with De Gea over a potential new contract are still ongoing.
The Spaniard was not on their list of retained players for next season which the ckub announced on Friday
Pickford has been at Everton since 2017, when he joined from boyhood club Sunderland. He signed a new contract with the Merseyside club in February, but that hasn't been enough to cool United's interest.
