Manchester United fans are hoping that stadium operators at the Stadion Energa Gdańsk have tempted fate ahead of their Europa League final after tipping Mason Greenwood for the Man of the Match gong.
The Red Devils travel to Poland in search of their first piece of silverware under Ole Gunnar Solskjaer when they take on Unai Emery's Villarreal in the showpiece event on Wednesday night.
Former Arsenal manager Emery is a wily operator in this competition, having won four of five finals, but United enter Wednesday's contest as favourites to take home the trophy.
And it would appear that stadium operators in Gdansk are predicting a strong night at the office for Mason Greenwood, who has enjoyed a rejuvenation in form towards the end of this season.
PA's Simon Peach shared an image of a big screen inside Stadion Energa Gdansk on Twitter, which showed Greenwood's photo alongside 'Man of the Match', as part of tests before the big game.
'As if you needed any more #inspiration ... here you go,' one United fan account wrote on Twitter. 'Make it happen @masongreenwood' another wrote.
The 19-year-old has scored six goals in his last eight Premier League games and is expected to start against the LaLiga side having nailed down a starting berth on the right hand side.
Greenwood's strong form has also seen him earn a recall into the England set up, having been frozen out following his debut in Iceland after breaching Covid rules with Phil Foden.
The United academy graduate is in Gareth Southgate's 33-man provisional squad, which will be cut down to a group of 26 ahead of their Euros opener against Croatia.
'In terms of the past, that's absolutely the past. I spoke with Mason before we selected him for the Under-21s in March to make that clear,' the Three Lions boss said on Tuesday.
'I hope his inclusion on this provisional list shows we're happy to select him, when young people make mistakes we move on from it, it was the same with Phil.
'He's an absolutely outstanding finisher, there's no question of that. He's another very young player, his all-round game is still coming together but he's clearly got an exceptional talent for finishing and that's why we picked him in September.'
Greenwood will be hoping to continue his good week with a meaningful showing against Emery's Villarreal and cap off a season of steady progress for Solskjaer's United.
