Manchester United are reportedly primed for a sensational double transfer swoop for Leicester pair James Maddison and Ben Chilwell.

Ole Gunnar Solskjaer's side have had a dreadful start to the season, taking just two wins from their opening eight Premier League games.

And in a bid to turn their season around, they have identified the two young English stars as prime targets, according to The Sun.

But any potential deal for the Foxes duo could cost the club up to £130million.

They report that Solskjaer will be handed a hefty transfer budget in January, and that the club have sent scouts to watch them recently.

Maddison - who was forced out of the England squad on Thursday due to illness - scored the winner against Tottenham last month and netted at Liverpool on Saturday.

Left-back Chilwell has become a first-team regular under Brendan Rodgers and is now a favourite of Gareth Southgate's.
