Manchester United have confirmed their third transfer of the summer after already adding Matheus Cunha and Diego Leon to their squad as Ruben Amorim attempts to turnaround the club

Manchester United have confirmed their plan for third summer signing Enzo Kana-Biyik, as the teenage star immediately departs the club. The Red Devils announced the signing of their newest star but highlighted he would join Lausanne-Sport of the Swiss Super League on loan after signing his contract.

Kana-Biyik, 18, is said to have signed a long-term deal after being courted by a host of sides including PSG, Chelsea and Monaco. The forward joins on a free transfer after seeing his contract with Le Havre end.

The France youth international twice earned a place among the club's substitutes, in Ligue 1 and the Coupe de France. Kana-Biyik scored nine goals in 18 appearances for the side's under-19s.

"Everyone at United would like to welcome Enzo to the club and wish him the very best of luck for his loan," United said in a statement.

The Premier League side want the youngster to earn more experience before being introduced to the first team and British football. The move to Lausanne-Sport sees Kana-Biyik join a club owned by INEOS.

United have already added two players to Ruben Amorim's squad this summer. The Red Devils signed Matheus Cunha from Wolves in a £62.5million deal after activating his release clause and will go straight into the head coach's plans.

The club then announced the arrival of Diego Leon after a deal for the player was confirmed earlier in the year. The Paraguayan youngster could not join the 13-times Premier League champions until after turning 18.

There is a less firm plan of Leon's role heading into the season, with United coaching staff said to be planning to keep a close eye on his progress before deciding on his future. The youngster has aspirations to remain at Old Trafford in his first season.

"I'm really happy, I think every player dreams of this," the young defender said to Paraguayan press. "When you're a professional, you have to adapt quickly, it is a massive opportunity.

"Everyone thinks I'll go out on loan, but I don't have that mindset. I'm going to kill it in pre-season and within one or two games, I'll already be playing with them."
