Paris Saint-Germain defender Thomas Meunier has been heavily linked with a move to Manchester United this summer, as Ole Gunnar Solskjaer looks to bolster his squad.
The 27-year-old Belgium international is reportedly seen as an ideal right-back target to compete with the young Diogo Dalot for a starting berth and his arrival would allow the 20-year-old to continue his development.
With a year remaining on his contract in the French capital, Meunier's future is attracting plenty of speculation and United fans will love what he has previously had to say about the Red Devils .
Speaking to SFR Sport in 2017, Meunier revealed his support for United and could not resist a dig at rivals Manchester City when asked who he plays as on EA Sports' FIFA games.
"Manchester," he replied. "The real one, Man United. Because I've always been a fan."
Whether a move to Old Trafford occurs this summer remains to be seen but Meunier's recent comments regarding his future show that his future remains up in the air.
"I still have 1 year on my contract here. What good would it do me to kick up a fuss? I have done less in matches, but I continue to give everything in training,” he told Lavenir Sport.
