Manchester United drew 4-4 with Aston Villa at home in the 10th round of the Premier League. After this round, Manchester United will finish in 18th place, their worst ranking after the first 10 rounds of England's top flight since the 1986/87 season, when they were 20th at the same stage.
Furthermore, Manchester United have now failed to win in eight consecutive Premier League matches, which is only the second time in the club's history they have encountered this embarrassing record. The previous occasion was from April to May 2025, when Manchester United also went eight consecutive league games without a win.
