Manchester City unveil 2025-26 home kit: sky blue with white sash

Manchester City officially unveiled their 2025–26 home kit, featuring a sky blue base with a white diagonal sash — the first time in club history this design appears on a home shirt.

The kit pays tribute to the club’s past, where the sash was iconic in away kits from the 1970s, worn by legends like Mike Summerbee, Colin Bell, Francis Lee, and Tony Book. With a modern twist, the new kit bridges the club’s generational fanbase through a futuristic aesthetic.

The launch video, directed by Glenn Kitson, included a talent show hosted by actor John Thomson and featured first-team stars Erling Haaland, Manuel Akanji, Oscar Bobb, and Alex Greenwood, along with club legend Mike Summerbee.

PUMA’s Marco Mueller emphasized their goal to push the boundaries of design and innovation, while Summerbee shared that the sash evokes “special memories” and hoped fans worldwide would embrace the kit.

The shirt comes in two versions:

Player edition: Made with UltraWeave fabric, ultra-light and friction-reducing.

Fan edition: Looser fit, made using PUMA dryCELL tech for moisture-wicking comfort.

As part of PUMA’s RE:FIBRE sustainability program, the replica kit uses at least 95% recycled textile waste, marking a step toward circular production.

City will debut the kit during the Club World Cup in the U.S. this summer, and it’s available now via the club’s website and official stores. Members and season ticket holders receive a 10% discount.
