Manchester United players quashed any sense of negativity around the camp as they were pictured laughing and joking together with manager Jose Mourinho during training on Friday
The Red Devils were completing the preparations for their second Premier League game of the season at Brighton on Sunday afternoon.
Spirits looked to be high among the group as Jesse Lingard, Paul Pogba and Romelu Lukaku all wore beaming grins as they took part in a light-hearted session at their Aon Training Complex.
Lukaku even performed the famous Fortnite ‘L’ dance but it was unclear just who the imposing Belgian striker was taunting with the celebration.
Players looked to be divided into two teams as they then went on to compete agains each other. They could be seen running in and out of cones while Anthony Martial was spotted trying to grapple Nemanja Matic.
United will be going in search of their second win of the new season on Sunday as they try to gain revenge for a painful 1-0 loss away at Brighton at the back end of the last campaign.
Earlier on Friday, Mourinho denied having a bust-up with Paul Pogba and insisted he is happy with the unsettled Frenchman's attitude at Manchester United.
United are adamant that Pogba will not be sold to Barcelona even though it's understood that he wants to leave Old Trafford for a second time.
But Mourinho denied that he had been involved in an angry exchange with the 25-year-old midfielder, and praised him for playing against Leicester last week after just four days training.
'He never had a fight with me,' said the United manager. 'We never had a warm (heated) exchange of words, everything is respected, I have no problems at all.
'Don't put him in a situation that people can think he's not a polite, educated guy. He is.
'The truth is we are together for two years and a couple of weeks and I've never been so happy with him as I am now. That's the truth.
'I cannot demand more from him, I cannot ask more from him. He came here on a Monday and trained three days. I asked for his support for his contribution in an important match for us when the team had difficulties. He did it better and for more time than we could expect.'
