According to Marca, Barcelona and Bayern Munich are closely monitoring Aston Villa's young midfielder John Manzambi. Scouts from several top European clubs have been impressed by the Swiss prodigy's performances.

Journalist Graeme Bailey stated on TEAMtalk: "We know that scouts from some of Europe's top clubs have been impressed by Manzambi's performances, with several seeing him as a 'future superstar'. Work is already underway behind the scenes, with potentially interested clubs assessing his development and long-term prospects."
Manzambi is a versatile player who can drive forward with the ball, make runs into the box, provide assists, and score goals. He possesses both technical skill and intelligence.
Bayern Munich began tracking the 21-year-old when he was still at Freiburg (where he scored 7 goals and provided 9 assists in 47 games). Bayern and Barcelona are two of the teams "closely monitoring" Manzambi.
Manzambi (born in Geneva in 2005) is a Swiss international. Since joining Aston Villa for a €60 million transfer fee, the burgeoning midfielder has contributed a goal or an assist in every game under Emery.
At the World Cup, he contributed three goals and two assists in the four matches he was available for, before an injury sidelined him for the Round of 16 and quarterfinals.
Alberto Rubio quoted Emery's evaluation of the highly sought-after player in Marca. Manzambi, who was named the Europa League's "Best Young Player" last season, said: "He is a versatile player who can drive forward with the ball, make runs into the box, provide assists, and score goals. He possesses both technical skill and intelligence, and his physical attributes are also very important for our defense and for winning aerial duels in attack."
