The Frenchman returned from injury to score in the Intercontinental Cup win over Pachuca.

Kylian Mbappé‘s first few months at Real Madrid have not been as bountiful as some had hoped but the Frenchman has still made an impact in the Spanish capital.

The 26-year-old has scored goals in the UEFA Super Cup and the FIFA Intercontinental Cup, helping his team to two pieces of silverware early in the season. Mbappé is slowly showing his value to Carlo Ancelotti’s team and appears a popular member of the squad.

Ahead of Christmas, Mbappé gifted each of his Real Madrid teammates a limited edition Loewe portable speaker, part of his ‘Sync with Kylian’ collection with the German luxury brand. The brand’s description claims that the speaker is “inspired by the sporting achievements of football star Kylian Mbappé and perfected with cutting-edge Loewe technology.”

Relevo reports that Mbappé handed out the speakers, which bare his ‘KM’ branding on the side, to all members of the first team squad.

Kylian Mbappé‘s Real Madrid icons

Mbappé‘s long-standing relationship with Real Madrid is no secret. He was courted by the LaLiga giants as a teenager and was the subject of near-constant transfer speculation until he finally opted for a move to the Santiago Bernabeu in the summer of 2024.

At a recent event Mbappé was quizzed by children about his love for the club, revealing which former star he would most liked to have played alongside. “Without being biased, I’d say Zinedine Zidane," Mbappé said, choosing his compatriot.

However Zidane was not the only illustrious name cited by Mbappé. He went on to mention another, more contemporary icon who he would have liked to have played with.

Mbappé explained: “I’ve played with great players: Messi, Neymar, Griezmann, Pogba, Benzema… It would have been fun to play with Cristiano Ronaldo, but it’s going to be very difficult now. But I was lucky enough to play against him, he’s a legend of the sport.”
