Kyllian Mbappé has spoken out in an official statement about the Paris Saint-Germain mess following the season ticket campaign for the 2023/24 season. Of the three big stars, only he appears in the advertising video alongside Hakimi and Donnarumma. No sign of Lionel Messi or Neymar.
Paris Saint-Germain continue to be in the spotlight for their non-sporting news. It seems that there is never a quiet day in the French capital. This time, the spotlight is on Mbappé, who claims in his message that everything has caught him by surprise.
"I've just seen the club's season ticket campaign for the 2023-2024 season. I was never informed of this, I don't agree with the video published," he explains.
In the aforementioned video to promote season tickets for next season, the club has 'forgotten' about Leo Messi and Neymar.
"This is why I am fighting for the rights to my image. PSG is a top club and a top family, but it's not Kylian Saint-Germain," he concludes emphatically.
Interestingly, one of the conditions that Mbappé set in order to renew his contract with the Parisian club was to have 100 percent of his image rights.
With this agreement, the player would have to be informed whenever PSG wanted to use his image for any purpose. However, as the player himself admits, this has not happened. PSG is once again tarnished for another reason far removed from the field of play.
