He also topped the team rankings for both shots on target (three) and chances created (two), highlighting his growing influence under Ruben Amorim.
Amadou Onana (Aston Villa 1-0 Man City)
Onana delivered a commanding midfield performance as Aston Villa edged past Manchester City at Villa Park.
The Belgian controlled the tempo in the centre of the pitch, breaking up play and disrupting Man City’s rhythm with his physicality and intelligent positioning.
His composure in possession and work rate without the ball helped Villa secure a fourth successive league victory.
Micky van de Ven (Everton 0-3 Spurs)
Van de Ven produced a big display at Hill Dickinson Stadium, scoring twice in the first half to set Spurs on their way to a 3-0 win.
The Dutch defender powered in two headers from corners before the break to put his side in control, becoming the first Spurs defender to net a brace in the Premier League since Jan Vertonghen in 2013.

Granit Xhaka (Chelsea 1-2 Sunderland)
