Former Real Madrid and Liverpool shot-stopper Jerzy Dudek has revealed that Lionel Messi would try to provoke Los Blancos stars Pepe and Sergio Ramos during El Classico fixtures.
Dudek spent four years with the LaLiga side, in which he mostly played as second-fiddle and a backup to Spaniard Iker Casillas, although he was involved during some El Classico fixtures, even if it was from the sidelines.
The Polish goalkeepers admitted that Messi and his manager Pep Guardiola, now Manchester City boss, would be very rude to try and annoy their opposition.
According to Italian outlet Il Posticipo via Marca, Dudek said: 'He was very provocative, as were Barcelona and their manager Pep Guardiola.
'They were always ready to annoy you and many times they managed it perfectly.
'I've seen and listened to Messi saying very rude things to Pepe and Ramos that you can't even think about.
'Imagine what can come out of the mouth of a person who seems so calm and friendly.'
Dudek only played twice in LaLiga during his time in Madrid, but he did help organise a minute's silence for the Smolensk air disaster in 2010 which claimed the lives of 96 Polish nationals, including Poland's president Lech Kaczynski.
Guardiola and Messi have since left Barcelona with the manager moving to Man City after a stint in charge of Bundesliga giants Bayern Munich.
Messi, however, left the Catalonian side after his contract expired last summer, moving to Ligue 1 side PSG.
Here he has linked back up with former Barca teammate Neymar, and coincidently the Argentine attacker also shares his team changing room with former adversary Ramos.
PSG are currently leading the French top division after ten games, winning eight and drawing two and are ahead of FC Lorient by one point.
