Carlos Cuesta has decided to remain with Italian side Parma despite recent links with other European clubs.

The 30-year-old decided to call time as a member of Arteta’s Arsenal coaching staff to take over at Parma last summer, becoming the youngest manager in Europe’s top five leagues.
Cuesta impressed during his first season, securing a 13th placed finish, three positions better than they managed in 2024-25.
According to Fabrizio Romano, the Spaniard is now set to remain at the club despite interest from other unnamed European clubs.
Parma are hoping Cuesta will commit his future to the club in a more official way and are readying a new contract offer.
