Milan could loan Endrick in January window, Roma has made contact with player's representation

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Milan is monitoring Real Madrid forward Endrick and may attempt to sign the Brazilian player on loan in the January transfer window.

Milan attempted to sign Endrick in the summer and had secured his agreement, but Real Madrid manager Carlo Ancelotti rejected the move, unwilling to let the player leave. Milan subsequently loaned Omari Hutchinson from Nottingham Forest instead. If Hutchinson underperforms and Endrick continues to lack playing time at Real Madrid, Milan will revisit the deal in January.

Endrick has dealt with a muscle injury this season and has played just 4 minutes for Real Madrid. However, he recently featured in three friendly matches for Brazil, appearing twice against Australia and once against India, accumulating 139 minutes. Endrick previously had a successful loan spell at Lyon after his 2022 transfer to Real Madrid; he contributed 8 goals and 7 assists in 21 games during his half-season loan in the first half of 2024. Now he is seeking more opportunities at Real Madrid, or may pursue another loan deal.

Roma is currently Milan's main competition for Endrick. Reports indicate Roma has made initial contact with the player's agency, Roc Nation, and will have the opportunity to discuss terms with Real Madrid during a Champions League match on the 14th of this month. Aston Villa previously attempted to sign Endrick, but Real Madrid ruled out his departure at that time.

Milan has maintained a partnership with Roc Nation since 2020, strengthened under owner Gerry Cardinale. In August this year, Cardinale and Roc Nation co-invested in CardVault, which involves Tom Brady. Milan believes this relationship may provide an advantage regarding negotiations for Endrick.

Regarding the deal structure, a permanent transfer to Milan appears unlikely. Real Madrid paid 35 million euros plus 25 million euros in add-ons to sign Endrick in 2022, and charged only 1 million euros for his Lyon loan last winter with no purchase option. Gazzetta dello Sport reports that a six-month loan remains the most realistic option if Milan can finalize a deal in January.
