AC Milan still consider Udinese's Juan Musso as their number one target to replace Gianluigi Donnarumma should he leave, a report claims.
Milan of course face yet another dilemma regarding the future of Donnarumma: with his deal expiring in 2021 they must either agree a renewal or sell this summer, or run the risk of losing him for free in a year's time.
According to what is being reported by Calciomercato.com, the Rossoneri have begun to examine potential replacements for the 21-year-old, and are not giving up on Juan Musso.
The Argentine is in face the first choice to replace Donnarumma in the event of his departure, but Udinese have slapped a €30m price tag on the 25-year-old.
Inter's interest has been constant over the last few months, but they have decided not to move due to the fact it would represent a 'big investment for a player that at least initially still will be a reserve'.
Milan would be able to guarantee Musso a spot in the starting XI if Donnarumma to leave which could definitely work in their favour, but of course it all depends on the future of the Italy international.
