Mohamed Salah’s departure during the upcoming summer transfer window is now considered increasingly likely, according to BBC Sport.

Despite signing a new two-year contract last year, Salah publicly hinted in December that he could leave mid-season, claiming he had been sacrificed after being repeatedly left out of the starting lineup.
He remained at Anfield beyond the January deadline and has started every game since returning from the Africa Cup of Nations. However, a departure this summer remains a serious possibility.
The Saudi Pro League and MLS are both considered realistic destinations for the 33-year-old. Mo Salah has scored two goals in nine club appearances in 2026.
