According to Diario AS, Barcelona hopes to complete the sale before June 30 to improve its financial accounts for the current fiscal year.

While not strictly necessary, Barcelona wants to finalize the sale before the fiscal year ends on June 30 to present better accounts. The club is expected to be profitable this fiscal year.
All signs point to Fati as the most likely player to leave Barcelona permanently in the coming days. Monaco, who loaned Fati last season, has decided to exercise the €11 million buyout option to sign him permanently. Negotiations are now primarily between Fati and Monaco, and the two parties are close to agreeing on a four-year contract. An official announcement is expected imminently. Barcelona believes the deal can be finalized in time for the revenue to be recorded in the current fiscal year. Beyond the €11 million transfer fee, Barcelona will also save Fati's substantial salary, which significantly helps the club's financial position.
While Fati's future is closest to resolution, it is not the only departure Barcelona must address. The club also hopes to finalize a loan deal sending Marc-André ter Stegen to Ajax for one season. Ajax will cover part of his high salary—an amount higher than what Girona previously offered, which was less than €1 million. Regardless, this move will reduce Barcelona's salary burden and create additional wage space.
So far, Barcelona has sold Iñaki Peña to Panathinaikos for €3 million; received slightly over €1 million in youth development compensation following Cucurella's signing by Real Madrid; and will receive approximately €400,000 from Sergi Altimira's transfer to Sporting CP.
Other potential departures, such as Balde and Casado, still require further negotiations. Unless there are major developments, these deals will likely be completed after June 30. Although June 30 is the official settlement date for the fiscal year, under accounting rules, deals that have reached an advanced stage can be included in the current fiscal year even if final documents are signed slightly later.
