Chelsea transfer news: Napoli's Khvicha Kvaratskhelia has attracted plenty of interest from some of Europe's biggest clubs after impressing in Italy

Chelsea are expected to continue their mass transfer spending in the summer as part of Todd Boehly's major overhaul at Stamford Brill.

One player who has been linked with a move to west London is Napoli's superstar Khvicha Kvaratskhelia. The winger has been tipped to complete a move away from Italy less than a year after moving to Napoli following his remarkable performances.

The 22-year-old has contributed to 27 goals in 26 games in all competitions for Napoli this season and has played a starring role for Luciano Spalletti side's rise to the top of Serie A. Gli Azzurri are 18 points clear at the top of the table with 14 games remaining and are on course to win their first league title since 1990.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, Napoli are preparing to double the forward's salary in anticipation of interest from the likes of Chelsea and Manchester City. Kvaratskhelia's current deal doesn't run out until 2027 but president Aurelio De Laurentiis is expected to act quick.
