Paris Saint Germain president Nasser Al-Khelaifi has suggested the Parisian club will be in for Jude Bellingham - saying that 'everybody' wants him.

Bellingham, 19, has been one of the stars of this year's World Cup, putting in a series of imperious performances as England marched their way to a quarter-final date with France.

Speaking to Sky News from Doha, Al-Khelaifi praised the Borussia Dortmund mifielder for his strong performances at the tournament - but said that any attempt from PSG to sign him would first go via his current club out of 'respect'.

'Amazing player, what a player. England are lucky to have him, to be honest,' he said.

'He's one of the best players in the tournament, amazing. First world cup, calm and relaxed - but confident. Amazing.'

He added: 'Listen, everybody wants him I'm not going to hide it. But respectfully, he's in his club. If we want him, we're going to talk to his club.'

Bellingham's performances for Gareth Southgate's side at the World Cup have only further fuelled speculation of a high-profile move to one of Europe's giants next summer.

Real Madrid were reported to be the leading party in his chase earlier this year as they look to revamp their midfield after years of success with Luka Modric, Toni Kroos and Casemiro.

However, English sides Manchester City and Liverpool remain confident of landing him.

England's World Cup campaign has been marked by social media speculation that Trent Alexander-Arnold and Jordan Henderson are both chipping away at Bellingham trying to convince him to join them on Merseyside.

However, Graeme Souness - while praising the midfielder - said he doubted Liverpool could land him.

'We don't have enough time [to discuss his quality], he is fabulous and is destined to be a star,' he said.

'He is getting a fantastic education at Dortmund, next year he will leave and the really big guys will come in, if it's a bidding war between Man City and Real Madrid, it's up to the boy where he ends up.

'You see everything a midfielder needs to have in him, wonderfully athletic, great size, it's hard to pick a fault in him, I think he will be an absolute stars.

'I don't think he will end up at Liverpool, unless they get new owners we can't afford him. All the big guys will be after him.'
