Keylor Navas is looking to force through a summer move to Paris Saint-Germain - but Real Madrid have told the goalkeeper he will not be allowed to leave on a free transfer.
Navas, a three-time Champions League winner with the Spanish giants, was forced to play second fiddle to Thibaut Courtois for much of the last campaign.
And rather than fight for his place at the Bernabeu next season, the 32-year-old stopper has seemingly decided that he wants to quit Spain for pastures new.
According to Spanish daily AS , Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has made it clear to the Costa Rican that Courtois, who arrived from Chelsea last summer, will be his No.1 next season.
It is claimed that Navas has demanded to club chiefs that they should allow him to leave for free, with French heavyweights PSG keen on securing his signature.
The experienced keeper, it is reported, also stunned the Madrid hierarchy by requesting that the final two years of his contract - worth around £9million - should be paid up in full ahead of his exit.
However the Spanish club are in no mood to meet his ambitious demands and will only sell him if potential suitors meet their £18m valuation.
