Nemanja Matic is reportedly 'unhappy' at French side Rennes and wants an immediate departure from the club.
The former Chelsea and Man United midfielder made 121 appearances for Chelsea, scoring four goals, before he joined Man United in 2017.
The 35-year-old then joined Roma in 2022, making 35 appearances, before joining Rennes only a year later, where he has played just 13 matches.
However, according to French sports paper L'Equipe Matic is not said to be happy at Rennes and is eyeing an exit.
L'Equipe reported the player 'is unhappy at Rennes and pushing for an immediate departure'.
He is also said to be eyeing a return to the Premier League, with a number of clubs interested.
Earlier today, it was revealed Jordan Henderson is open to leaving Saudi Arabia side Al-Ettifaq.
Ajax are among the clubs to have been alerted to the news that Henderson is open to returning to Europe.
The Dutch giants are fully aware of the financial factors that would make the deal difficult to pull off.
Henderson, according to widespread reports, is said to earn between £500,000-£700,000 per week in the Saudi Pro League.
