Forest saw their nine-match unbeaten run come to an end in their last two games of 2021, as Steve Cooper's side suffered back-to-back defeats to stall their push for the play-off spots. It has been a long time since the two-time European champions were in the top flight of English football and the side will surely want to give a strong account of themselves on Sunday.

Arsenal, meanwhile, may have lost their opening game of the year against Manchester City but the performance against the Premier League leaders was hugely encouraging and Mikel Arteta will feel his men are moving in the right direction. The manager will be desperate to avoid a giant-killing which could derail that progress.
