Saudi Champions Al-Ittihad terminate the contract with coach Laurent Blanc.

Al-Ittihad Club announces the termination of its contractual relationship with the first team's head coach, Mr. Laurent Blanc, and his coaching staff. The club's board of directors extends its sincere thanks and appreciation for their efforts during the past period and wishes them success in their future endeavors.
The club's management has also decided to appoint Captain Hassan Khalifa as head coach of the first team, assisted by Mr. Ivan Carrasco, head coach of the U21 team, until the club finalizes an agreement with a new technical staff that matches the club's ambitions and fulfills the team's objectives and the aspirations of its loyal fans.
