LOSC announces the signing of Samuel Umtiti, new LOSC player. The 29-year-old defender, the 2018 world champion, has committed to the club until 2025.

He also became one in the France team where Umtiti formed a complementary hinge with Varane. It is therefore natural that he is selected to participate in the 2018 World Cup in Russia. On July 10, 2018, during the semi-final against Belgium that will write his legend, the Frenchman scored the winning goal with a header at the first post (1-0). Five days later, he was crowned World Champion with the national team by beating Croatia 4-2.
